Privacy Policy
Learn how Foulware collects, uses, and protects your information across our gaming software, DMA firmware, and services.
Last Updated: August 2026 — At Foulware, we operate on a strict data-minimization and privacy-first philosophy. We only collect the minimal information necessary to deliver software licenses, custom DMA firmware, and support services.
1. Overview & Commitment
Foulware ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to safeguarding the privacy and anonymity of our community members, customers, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy outlines how your personal data and device metadata are handled when you access our website (foulware.com), purchase digital software licenses, download custom DMA (Direct Memory Access) firmware, or engage with our support services.
By using Foulware, you acknowledge the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please refrain from using our software and services.
2. Information We Collect
We adhere to strict data-minimization protocols. We only process data required to authenticate your identity, process transactions, and prevent fraudulent key distribution.
A. Account & Authentication Information
- Email Address: Used for account creation, passwordless OTP (One-Time Password) magic links, order confirmation, and license delivery.
- OAuth Profile Data: If you authenticate via Google or Discord OAuth, we receive standard identifiers (such as Discord User ID and username) used exclusively for linking your account and assigning verified customer roles in our Discord server.
- Session Identifiers: Encrypted session cookies necessary to maintain active logins.
B. Transaction & Payment Information
- All payments are processed through secure, third-party PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways (such as Stripe).
- Foulware does not store or process raw payment credentials (e.g., full credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account details) on our servers.
- We retain only transaction metadata (such as Stripe customer ID, payment status, transaction ID, timestamp, and purchased plan) for order fulfillment and dispute verification.
C. Device & License Telemetry
To enforce license limits and prevent unauthorized cracking or unauthorized multi-device key redistribution, our software client may collect:
- Anonymized Hardware Hash (HWID): A one-way cryptographic hash of select hardware identifiers (such as CPU, motherboard UUID, or NIC signature).
- Firmware Device Profile Information: When requesting custom 1:1 DMA firmware builds, you may provide target donor device parameters (Vendor ID, Device ID, Subsystem IDs) required to compile your personalized firmware binary.
Zero In-Game Telemetry: Foulware software and DMA firmware never inspects, reads, logs, or transmits your private personal files, browsing history, keystrokes, personal media, or game voice communications.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
- Digital Product Delivery: Instant issuance of software license keys, downloadable macro profiles, and firmware binaries.
- License Activation & Anti-Abuse: Verifying active license duration (daily, weekly, monthly, or lifetime) and matching HWID locks to authorized seats.
- Customer Support & Community Access: Resolving technical support tickets, handling hardware resets (when eligible), and automating Discord role verification.
- Security & Fraud Prevention: Detecting payment fraud, chargeback abuse, and unauthorized penetration attempts against our infrastructure.
- System Updates & Notifications: Sending critical updates regarding game patches, loader updates, or scheduled maintenance.
4. Zero-Log & Data Confidentiality
We prioritize customer anonymity and operational security:
- No Activity Logging: We do not maintain logs of when you launch games, how long you play, or your in-game performance metrics.
- No Data Selling: We never sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal data, email addresses, or usage information to third-party advertising brokers or data aggregators.
- Restricted Access: Access to customer account records and custom firmware builds is restricted to authorized core administrative staff with multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
Foulware uses minimal, essential cookies and browser local storage:
- Essential Session Cookies: Utilized by our authentication system (NextAuth.js) to keep you signed in securely.
- Preference Storage: Local storage keys to preserve your UI preferences (e.g., dark mode settings).
- Analytics: We use privacy-friendly, anonymized traffic telemetry to understand site performance without tracking individual cross-site user profiles.
You can configure your browser to reject cookies, though certain interactive features (such as dashboard login and checkout) may not function properly without them.
6. Data Storage and Retention
- Storage Location: Account records and license metadata are stored in high-security, encrypted PostgreSQL databases hosted in tier-1 cloud facilities.
- Retention Schedule: We retain account data as long as your account remains active. Anonymized transaction records are retained to comply with tax and legal accounting obligations.
- Custom Firmware Builds: Compiled 1:1 donor firmware binaries are stored in secure, private object storage and made available to the purchasing customer.
7. Third-Party Services & Integrations
We partner only with industry-standard, secure infrastructure providers:
| Provider | Purpose | Data Shared / Processed |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment Processing | Billing metadata, payment status, customer ID |
| Discord API | Community Integration & Role Sync | Discord user ID, username, server membership |
| Gmail SMTP / Nodemailer | Transactional Emails & Magic Links | User email address, OTP verification token |
| Neon PostgreSQL | Cloud Database Infrastructure | Encrypted user records, license keys, orders |
All third-party services operate under their respective privacy policies and security compliance standards.
8. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have complete control over your personal information:
- Access & Export: You may request a copy of the personal data associated with your Foulware account.
- HWID Reset Requests: Eligible customers may submit hardware reset requests through our dashboard or support portal when upgrading PC components.
- Account Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): You can request full deletion of your Foulware account and associated email records at any time by contacting our support team via Discord. Upon deletion, active licenses will be terminated and non-recoverable.
